Billow shoes from FitFlop
Although it feels odd writing about such a summer shoe in January the makers of Fitflops ® have designed a winter version called the Billow boot which is a fabulous name. I am often asked my opinion on the Fitflop. So here it is.
Styled as “the flipflop with the gym built in” For me, they a great heeled flip flop. It is this high heel wedge that in my opinion, imparts their comfort. I think the MBT is a much better instability shoe for overall toning and walking. The Fitflops are a huge success and in my children’s playground at school you often see them being worn by the mums. They have a well designed upper which fits nicely onto the arch of the foot and therefore is comfortable. I have only tried them on and not out and about!
I have always loved flip flops as growing up in Africa they were my childhood shoe. Flip flops work with a ligament deep in the feet called the spring ligament and as shoe designs go are a universal success.
Top tips for Flipflops themselves.
– Always go for thicker styles with a comfortable leather thong if you can for best comfort.
– Don’t wear them too much if you are not used to wearing flat shoes as they can bring about heel pain.
If you love flip flops then try our Beech sandals that are now my favourite as these hold each and every toe and really work with the tendons and ligaments of the foot to give great comfort, straighten out toes and really help heal up all sorts of foot complaints.
Recommended by lots of fashion and beauty writers including Newby Hands. She says they look better then "clumpy MBTs" and after wearing them all day her legs ached the next day proving those muscles had been working.
