Lamisil cream is used to treat fungal infections of the skin caused by fungus (dermatophytes or tinea), tinea of the feet is commonly known as athlete’s foot.
Lamisil cream is also used to treat yeast infections of the skin. Yeasts are another type of fungus, a common example being Candida albicans.
Each gram of Lamisil Cream contains 10mg of the active ingredient terbinafine hydrochloride. Terbinafine works by killing dermatophytes and killing or stopping the growth of yeasts.
