Lamisil™ cream is used to treat fungal infections of the skin caused by fungus (dermatophytes or tinea), tinea of the feet is commonly known as athlete’s foot.
Lamisil™ cream is also used to treat yeast infections of the skin. Yeasts are another type of fungus, a common example being Candida albicans.
Each gram of Lamisil ™Cream contains 10mg of the active ingredient terbinafine hydrochloride. Terbinafine works by killing dermatophytes and killing or stopping the growth of yeasts.
