Fungal infections are very common and because of the thicker skin on the sole of the feet can be quite active without many symptoms of pain and itching. It is very important to bring them under control to avoid them affecting the nail plate and spreading. Remember to also use a spray to disinfect shoes. If you are unsure whether you have a fungal infection, try our testing kit first.
Children can and do get fungal infections but they are less common and we would recommend seeking a podiatry or general practice opinion before commencing any anti-fungal therapy.
